Community Involvement

Our members are more than residents of Pinetop. Our members are actively engaged in many efforts to support our local community through support of local charities and scholarships for our employees, as well as two golf tournaments supporting local schools, Blue Ridge and St. Anthony's.

Eagles for Yellow Jackets - This amazing scholarship program benefits our WMCC Blue Ridge scholars. Any time a participating member makes an eagle from the fairway (not putting), participating members contribute to a fund. Half the pot goes to the member who made the eagle and half goes to the scholarship fund. 

Fantasy Tables for Promising Futures - This beautiful dinner supports WMCC employees wishing to pursue trades or other vocational training. "Hosts" of the event decorate their table with a unique theme and fill the table with guests who enjoy a plated dinner, entertainment and the opportunity to bid on baskets and desserts prepared by WMCC members. Since its inception in 2018 the fund has bestowed nearly $60,000 in scholarships!

Annual Home Tour - Every summer generous residents open their beautiful cabins for tours, sharing stories about their design and what makes their summer home special. Participants then enjoy a happy hour at the Club. Our most recent Home Tour generated $38,000 for Walking Down Ranch in Lakeside, which benefits local Veterans.
