I Graduated college from South Dakota State University in Landscape Architectural Design. I accidentally got into the golf business 37 years ago by doing some design and construction work for a golf management company. My first Superintendent job was at The Pines Country Club in Nebraska-- I left there and moved to West Virginia to be the Superintendent at a top 100 golf course, Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe. It was ranked 86th when I went there and was 54th when I left. I then had the fortunate opportunity to come to White Mountain Country Club in 2005 and have enjoyed every day here. I have also been involved in local state chapters of Superintendents Associations. I have been President twice of our Cactus and Pines chapter in Arizona. I am currently serving on my 4th year on the national level of Board of Directors for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America serving its 19,000+ members. In my spare time I enjoy golfing ,hunting, fishing, hiking, traveling and doing projects at home.
